Special architectural features and fittings   The church is oblong in shape, of red brick construction, with art deco internal features.

St Patrick's is representative of a modest, Interwar Romanesque architectural style church displaying unique decorative external elements in the metropolitan area.

Other location information   The foundation stone was laid by Archbishop Henry Le Fanu on the 22nd March 1936 on the nearest day to St Patrick's day.

Renovated 1998 Pipe Organ Builders & Services. A new pipe was provided for each of the Pedal Open Diapason and Bourdon ranks.

1. New blower and relocation to room below the organ chamber.
2. New Control/Memory system with wireless connection, 250 levels of memory Sequencer of 500 levels, up to 100 steps each. In Sequencer mode, all divisional and general pistons function as 'Next' piston.

4. Addition of Gt & Pedal Combinations Coupled drawstop
5. New mouths to bass 10 Open Diapason 16' pipes to improve speech
6. Six Thumb pistons for Swell and Great
7. Six toe pistons for Pedal
8. Twelve general thumb pistons and 8 general toe pistons
9. Thumb and toe pistons for 'Next' and 'Previous' Reversible thumb pistons for Gt-Ped, Sw-Ped, Sw-Gt.
