The timber used is a beautiful assortment of fine wood: Tasmanian Oak
for the frames, Silky Oak veneer panelling with school colour (garnet)
edging, solid Silky Oak drawstop jambs and pipe shade carvings,
Tasmanian Oak with Ebony inlays in keyboard cheeks |

All
access panels are lockable. There is rear Swell access for tuning
the Oboe and a central walkboard, 300mm wide mounted 1800mm high in the
organ case for servicing the organ. There are double pallets to
all pedals and lowest octave of manuals, all pallets 250mm long.
The depth of key travel is 8mm on manuals, 18mm on pedals. |
