Other location information   On Palm Sunday, 11 April 1965, Our Lady's Assumption Church was blessed and opened. Father Patrick Peter O'Mara was inducted by His Grace, Archbishop Prendiville, thus formally constituting Dianella as a new parish within the Archdiocese of Perth, to meet the spiritual needs of some 300 families.

Comparable instruments to current organ   A similar organ existed at St Phillip's Anglican Church, Cottesloe.

Assessment of organ and current status   The church purchased an Allen digital organ in June, 1989, ostensibly to replace the pipe organ. The current location of the pipe organ is not known.
